A Vibrant Refurbishment: Eclectic Living in Notting Hill

On a rare play street in Notting Hill, this five-bedroom home is being transformed with an vibrant flair. For a single mother of four, the goal was to let the house evolve naturally, reflecting her growing art collection and creative choices.

The refurbishment began with the master suite, blending rich textures, lively colors, and unique furnishings to create a personal, artistic retreat. Each child’s bedroom follows suit, with playful designs and expressive décor, offering both comfort and individuality.

In the living areas, the family’s love of color and texture takes center stage. An eclectic mix of vintage and contemporary furniture, textured rugs, and standout artwork defines the space. Zones for relaxation, work, and family gatherings merge harmoniously, ensuring both connection and personal space.

Currently, the lower ground floor is undergoing structural work to create a multifunctional space that will house a small cinema room, open kitchen-diner both for entertaining and cosy family evenings. The design encourages creativity while embracing the family’s evolving lifestyle.

With its focus on bold aesthetics and a growing art collection, this Notting Hill home is a reflection of its owners—vibrant, dynamic, and ever-evolving.

I had so much fun refurbishing my house with Emma, she has the best taste! Emma is full of ideas that are original and unique. She is extremely professional and reliable and transforms your house into a home that resembles you and not a random showroom. Highly recommend her
